At Clean & Sober Detox, located in serene Fair Oaks, we provide a safe detoxification experience. Not all individuals seeking detoxification from the disease of an addiction will require hospitalization. For the individuals who are seriously seeking recovery from an addiction we provide a safe, structured environment that has supervised care 24 hours a day.

Typically clients will experience a distressing physiological and mental effect. And some clients will require medications to assist in their detoxification process; we collaborate with several doctors to ensure our clients receive the proper medications. Our facility is equipped to detox individuals from the following substances; alcohol, narcotics, heroin, methamphetamine, depressants, opiates or prescription medications; OxyContin, Oxycodone, Codeine, Vicodin, Percodan or Percocet.

Depending on the substance our clients are withdrawing from they usually stay 5 to 15 days. Our intense detoxification program consists of daily activities such as: a reading from recovery books in a group session, viewing educational videos about recovery and the disease of addiction, and attending 12 Step meetings. We understand that clients are withdrawing and there may be days when they are unable to participate.

Accepting only 6 clients at a time allows staff to provide more individual care with each client.

Prior to exiting our program all clients are assessed and have an exit plan. They are urged to continue in recovery at the next appropriate level of care.
