There are over 22.8 million addicts and alcoholics in America. Most adults desiring to get into recovery face major obstacles. One - they usually cannot get the toxic substances out of their system long enough to enter into a recovery program, Two - the availability of supervised and supported detox environments is almost non existent, and Third - funding, the expense.
Our purpose and objective is to fill that gap that exists in the continuum of care for those who are seeking recovery from alcohol, narcotics, or prescription medications. Many who desire to enter into recovery do not because they are not able to detox on their own and do not have funds or insurance for expensive facilities. We provide this first and critical part of the recovery process for a fraction of the cost. Yet we do not cut corners when it comes to the care of our clients.
At Clean & Sober Detox our goal is to make detox available to adults desiring recovery. For those who are seriously seeking recovery we provide a safe and structured environment.
We are not a "Flop House". If we are not the appropriate facility we will refer you to a facility that is best suited for your needs. Our intense detoxification program consists of daily activities such as: reading from recovery books in a group session, viewing educational videos about recovery and the disease of addiction, and attending 12 Step meetings. We feel our intense program helps individuals prepare for a lifestyle of recovery. Our clients are encouraged to have a clear plan for their sobriety, with obtainable goals, before they exit our facility. After they are non-toxic we assist them in making an exit plan where they may continue in recovery at the appropriate level of care. We are just the first step. As part of our aftercare clients and their family members may continue to call for assistance.
We have high standards for our staff and volunteers. Honesty, integrity, and recovery are among the principles we embrace. This is required so we may help each client set and reach their goals in recovery and life. Staff is required to continually upgrade their skills and knowledge in the recovery field.
We are a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) Social Model detoxification facility, for adults, serving our community since 1999, located near Sacramento.
